The Business of Fashion is seeking an experienced reporter to lead coverage of the intersection between fashion, business and tech. You will bring strong reporting, analytical thinking and writing skills to contribute agenda-setting features and exclusive news stories. You will have room to shape your beat with a focus on subjects including big tech’s scramble for fashion, digital shopping, the blockchain, the metaverse and more. What we need you to do
You will help drive and shape coverage of the interplay between fashion and tech. You will contribute a range of deeply reported features, investigative stories and agenda-setting news analysis for a target audience of intelligent, globally minded fashion industry decision-makers while meeting tight deadlines and weekly targets.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Who you are
An experienced journalist, with fluency writing about business, fashion and technology. You will be full of ideas, confident in pitching stories and able to swiftly execute tightly written news, analysis and deeply reported features.
Experience covering the fashion industry is a bonus, but more than that, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment, combined with the following skills will set you up for success:
