WDET 101.9 FM is Detroit’s public radio station and NPR affiliate. Located in the heart of the city, WDET is licensed to Wayne State University and is one of the region’s most active non-profit organizations. Our mission is to serve an engaged, diverse, and curious audience through trusted news, inclusive conversations, and cultural experiences that empower our community to move forward. We’re proud to share Detroit’s stories with the world and bring the world to Detroit — on-air, online, and through in-person events.
