Brookline.News, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and member of the Institute for Nonprofit News, was founded in July 2022, incorporated in October 2022, and first published in May 2023 to help fill a news void in Brookline, MA. It is the only news organization dedicated solely to covering the town of 63,000. Brookline.News is dedicated to providing high quality journalism to its community, training the next generation of journalists, and working with similar organizations in Eastern Massachusetts and beyond to improve the quality of professional journalism on the local level.
