Job Description

The Incc is a new media and social networking platform that incorporates original articles on Culture & Community to foster better understanding in celebration of our shared humanity.  We are committed to celebrating the Asian and South Asian community in America. We are highlighting Movers, Shakers & Influencers. We are sharing food, travel and tradition. We are sharing what it takes to hold on to tradition while navigating modern day and how both have a place in our lives.

While many talk about bringing cultures and communities closer together, we’ve created a space where it can truly happen.

This is where you come in as we begin to add writers to help craft stories, articles and interviews that people of all Cultures can enjoy. We want your authentic voice. We want you to use your journalistic talents but marry them to your cultural roots.

To start we are looking for a journalist to write a story about a person from their culture who is on a journey that people from other cultures will want to read about.  

This will be for our section entitled “Culture As Told By.”

We are also looking for assistance to elevate other areas of our “Culture Channels” (think digital magazines), but this is the start.

The Incc will launch later this year with a focus on Asian, Black, Latin, South Asian and MENA Cultures and add more as we grow.

So come join us on this amazing journey to tear down cultural walls and build bridges as we use original content and social networking to unite instead of divide.

Job Requirements

• Journalist has been writing, reporting and interviewing for 5-6 years.
• Proficient at narrative writing.
• Excited about the opportunity to amplify their culture & community.
• Able to produce an article with a two-week turnaround.
