WITF is looking for an experienced Senior Reporter to join our collaborative, multimedia newsroom and help shape local journalism across our 19-county region.

This is an opportunity to do more than report the news. You’ll dig deeper, ask better questions, edit and mentor a growing newsroom, and expand coverage that informs and engages our neighbors.

 In this role, you’ll:

• Report daily, breaking and enterprise stories across digital, broadcast, and audio
• Identify the issues that are important to Central Pa and turn them into compelling journalism
• Edit and coach reporters while helping strengthen WITF’s regional news coverage
• Collaborate with editors, reporters, producers, and media partners
• Contribute to live coverage, public affairs programming, major news events, and engage our audience at events

Job Requirements

We’re looking for:

• 5+ years of professional journalism experience
• Exceptional reporting, writing, editing, and interviewing skills
• Strong news judgment and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Experience working across digital, radio, and other emerging platforms
• A collaborative mindset and passion for impactful, community-focused journalism
