Job Description:

The Podcast Reporter/Host, working under the direction of the Video & Podcast Team Leader, reports and produces a mix of short-term episodes, mid-range enterprise audio storytelling and longer-form series. The Podcast Reporter/Host also works with other reporters in the newsroom to help report and mix all podcast series. The Podcast Reporter is skilled in and passionate about journalism and the art of storytelling and is able to pivot quickly based on the demands of the news cycle.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: 

·  Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, mass communications or related field is required, with a proven knowledge and experience working with current media creation tools and contemporary newsroom systems, producing digital and print content, preferred. 

· Radio and/or podcast experience and solid understanding of news writing, journalistic ethics and story structure. 

· Team player who enjoys a fast-paced work environment. 

Work environment/equipment: 

· Required to use a computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods of time. 

· Proficient use of PC, laptop, smartphone, tablet, photo/video equipment 

· Ability to work nights or weekends
