About the Role

Scientific American’s Multimedia Intern will create audio and video stories that explain highly technical, and highly important, scientific concepts. As the Multimedia Intern, you will assist in the coordination, recording, transcription and post-production of podcasts and videos. 

 

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in a science discipline is preferred but not required.

  • Technical proficiency in the Adobe Create Suite, with a particular focus on Premiere and Audition.

  • Experience with a variety of camera and field audio equipment.

 

This position pays $20 per hour and is full time—up to 35 hours per week—for 5-6 months during Winter and Spring 2025. This position is located in our New York office on a hybrid working model.
